Principal flutist with the Kingston Symphony, Donelda is a graduate and former faculty member of McGill University. She has performed with the McGill Chamber Orchestra, CBC Montreal Orchestra, Montreal Symphony, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, on CBC radio and television, and in numerous solo and chamber recitals throughout Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes.
In May of 1994 she was featured as a soloist in a three-week tour of Spain with the Queen’s University Orchestra. Her work as Assistant Professor at Queen’s University and her part-time appointment at the State University of New York (Potsdam) keep the pedagogical fires burning. Recent studies and performances on baroque flute and recorder add richly to her musical life.
