Learning Strategies Development is an academic support service to help you do well at Queen's. There are many ways to improve your study skills, time management and prepartion for examinations; from note-taking to memorization to the 'Five Day Study Plan,' Learning Strategies has you covered.

One-on-One Consultation
This is a confidential service aimed at helping you with specific learning needs. You can bring discrete concerns such as note-taking, reading texts, preparing for exams, time management, etc., to be addressed in a 40 minute consultation.
Drop in or sign up outside their offices to see a Learning Strategies Consultant in Room 143 on the main floor of Stauffer Library.

Workshops
You can get lots of information from the many workshops throughout the school year. You can register for a workshop through the QLC website. Ask your Don for more information.
Workshops include:
- Adjusting to University

- Studying for your Exams
- And much more!

Peer Mentors
Upper year students are trained to teach important academic survival skills to other students through a mentoring process. A Mentor can assist with some or all of the following:
