QLC Student Assistants
Student Assistants work at the main Information Desk and provide a wide range of services; they answer basic questions, refer students to the learning services that meet their needs, and provide techical help with Stauffer Library computers. Student Assistants also offer several workshops throughout the year, such as Excel and Power Point. Hiring for QLC Student Assistants takes place in March and on occasion during the year.

Volunteer with Learning Strategies
Learning Strategies actively recruits volunteers it the winter term (Jan-Feb) and interview in March for the following academic year.
Peer Learning Assistants (PLAs) assist with workshops, study skills seminars, drop-in sessions and facilitate Supported Learning Groups for selected first year courses. Please check the PLA Volunteer Opportunities page for details to apply.
Be a Peer Tutor at the Queen's Writing Centre
