A. The QLC is located inside Stauffer Library, however the Library is just one of five QLC partners offering various services to the Queen's community. The other partners include Learning Strategies Development, ITServices, the Writing Centre and Library Services for Students with Disabilities.
A. The QLC is physically located on the ground floor of Stauffer Library. The QLC is also available online at queensu.ca/qlc.

A. The QLC offers a range of research, learning, writing and IT resources to the Queen's community. If you are unsure which service is appropriate for your question, please come visit the QLC Student Assistants at the main information desk. Their hours are listed here: QLC Hours of Operation. If you would like to contact or visit a specific service please see our contact page and choose the appropriate service from the side navigation bar: QLC Contacts.
A. When you are not connected to the Queen's server either in the Learning Commons or elsewhere on campus you must use the Queen's Webproxy Service. If you are still having trouble connecting, please visit the QLC Student Assistants or the ITServices staff at the main information desk, located in Stauffer Library, for more help.
TIP: The student-run Publishing and Copy Centre (P&CC) in the JDUC offers the same services as the library, often at a lower price. We encourage you to check it out!
A. Yes, small snacks are allowed in Stauffer Library except in areas with special print collections and around any computer equipment. Hot, smelly and/or messy foods are not allowed. Please read the Library Food and Drink Policies for more information.
A. The QLC is located on the ground floor of Stauffer Library and this level is designed as an interactive space with a moderate level of noise. All other levels of the library are quiet zones and the Fireplace Reading Room on the second floor is a silent zone.
