Peer Profile of the WeekHi! My name is Gloria and I’m a second year student studying psychology. This is my first year as a peer learning assistant, and it has already been such an amazing experience. Not only do we get to work with wonderful individuals from all years and faculties, but we also have the opportunity to share useful studying strategies for all types of students. When I was a first year, I knew about the resources that were available for students but never took advantage of them. This year, as my schedule was getting busy and life was getting busier, I’ve discovered so many helpful resources that ranged from academic advising to housing advice. I believe it is important to exercise the resources available at Queen’s, and becoming a PLA or attending workshops by QLC would be a great way to start. Remember that resources are here to make your university experience easier and better! |
