English proficiency for a diverse group of English language learners.

In pursuit of this mission, the School of English will bring about results in at least three areas:

• A well-researched curriculum that responds to the needs of English language learners, reflects best practices in teaching methodology, and makes optimal use of language education technology
• A rich socio-cultural program set in a dynamic Canadian context
• A highly skilled staff who actively pursue professional development
