Payment Deadlines

1.   When do I need to pay?

Tuition fees can be paid from receipt of the invoice until the program deadline. Please keep in mind that before QSoE can issue an official “Letter of Acceptance”, full tuition fees for the first session, a $500 (CAD) deposit for all additional sessions and UHIP fees must be received. Students can not register or start class unless all fees have been paid.

2.   How late can I apply for a program?

All programs have an application deadline approximately 1 month prior to the start date of the program. Please check the application deadlines listed on our Dates and Fees page. It is advised to apply before the deadline to allow sufficient time for all of the necessary arrangements, such as accommodation and acquiring a Visa.

Sessions may fill up before the deadlines, so apply online as soon as possible.

Please ensure you meet all application requirements including:

  • Submitting the appropriate program application form
  • Submitting accommodation application form
  • Full payments of tuition, deposits, UHIP (University Health Insurance Plan), residence fees or payment of homestay deposit and homestay placement fee (if applicable), scanned attachment for confirmation of payment, and confirmation of permission to study in Canada.

3.   When do I pay my Homestay fees?

Your non-refundable $100 (CAD) Homestay placement fee and $350 (CAD) refundable Homestay deposit must be paid before your Homestay application can be forwarded for placement.

When you arrive at your homestay you will have seven (7) days to decide whether or not you want to keep your homestay. If you decide to stay you are required to make a full session payment of your homestay fees by the end of the seventh (7th) day.
