1. Do you offer scholarships or financial assistance?
Unfortunately, the School of English is unable to provide any form of scholarship or fee subsidy.
Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents, who have resided in Ontario for 12 consecutive months, and who demonstrate financial need, may be eligible for the Ontario Special Bursary Plan (OSBP). Quebec residents interested in the English Language and Culture program may be eligible for the QSoE Entrance Award. For more details, visit the Financial Aid Section.
2. Will I need medical insurance?
It is mandatory for all international students to be enrolled in UHIP (University Health Insurance Plan). The appropriate fees will be added to your invoice.
3. Do I still have to enroll in UHIP if I have my own medical insurance?
Yes, you are still required to enroll in UHIP.
