Refund/Cancellation Policy

1.   What is the refund policy if I don’t get a visa?

If you are denied entry into Canada by Canadian officials you will receive a full refund of fees, less an administrative fee of $100 (CAD), if you show proof of your visa denial and return your original letters of acceptance.

2.   What if I don’t like the program and withdraw?

12-Week EAP and CEE Programs:

Students who cancel from any session before the starting date listed on the application form or before registration, and who return the original acceptance letter, will receive a refund of fees minus a $500 (CAD) cancellation fee for the EAP program ($300 (CAD) for the CEE program).

Students who withdraw after registration and before the end of the first week of classes are eligible for a refund of 60% of the tuition fee. No tuition refunds will be granted after 4 pm on Friday of the first week of classes in any session.

Business Internship Program:

The refund policy is consistent with the 12-Week EAP program as detailed above with the following additional provision: Students who receive notice during the first four weeks of the program that they have been denied Work Permits will be refunded fees for the work placement component of the Program.

International TESL Program:

The refund policy is consistent with the 12-Week EAP program as detailed above.

Part-time Programs:

Refunds are not available for part-time programs unless the course has been cancelled by QSoE.

3.   Can I transfer my application to a different session if my visa is delayed?

Yes. You must notify Queen’s School of English immediately in writing regarding your request. A $10 (CAD) administrative fee will be charged for reissuing acceptance letters.
