Canada’s Postal Service is on Strike

Find out how this may affect you.

Canada’s Postal Service is currently on a rotating 24-hour strike. Strike activity can affect service in a given area without advance notice. Please expect some delays in receiving your mail.

QSoE students currently studying on campus may experience some delays in receiving mail packages if it’s sent through Canada Post’s mailing services. If you are expecting to receive registered mail from abroad, please check the QSoE office for mail pickup notices.

For new applicants to QSoE, please note, it is recommended that you request to have your acceptance package sent by courier (i.e. FedEx) instead of regular mail in order to avoid delays. To do so, please select “Courier Service” on your online application form. We will inform you of the approximate fee involved.
