Below you will find information on the trips that we offer, typical sample itineraries, estimated prices, how to register and other information.  Actual trip dates and prices will be determined prior to each session start date and provided after your arrival.

Transportation

For trips that require more than a 1 hour drive we reserve an upgraded activity bus. This looks like a regular yellow school bus, but has been upgraded to have cushioned bucket seats, air conditioning and is equipped with a TV and DVD player.

Accommodation

All over-night trips include shared accommodations.  This means that students will be placed into rooms together and will likely be sharing a bed.

For hotel accommodations there will be 4 students in each room, sharing 2 double beds.

For hostel accommodation there may be 3 to 15 students sharing a room; but each person will have their own single bed.  A hostel will also require that students bring their own towel. For local university residence accommodations, students may share a room with one other student (single beds), or have a single bed and room to themselves.

Please note that shared accommodations are very common in Canada and are necessary to keep the cost of trips to a minimum.  All shared rooms are separated by gender.

How to Register

Method of Payment: We accept credit card and bank card; no cash.  We can accept traveller's cheques, but only exact amount - no change can be made.  Please come into the Queen's School of English office for registration and payment.

Please note details of trips may change. To run a trip a minimum number of 30 tickets must be sold; there is a maximum of 42.

Deadline for ticket purchases is the Wednesday of week one of your session.
