QUASR "Go-Live" Support Guide
The implementation of new PeopleSoft administrative systems brings a number of changes. Please consult the list below for resources which assisted in finding information, tools, and methods of support that help make the transition easier.
There are some things that authorized PeopleSoft system users do to ensure that things go as smoothly as possible during the transition:
1. Change your password to meet the new strength requirements:
2. Test that you can login to the MyQueensU portal
from your workstation using your NetID and password.
3. Test that you can login to the QUASR Training space
on the Queen's wiki from your workstation using your NetID and password to ensure you can access training materials, including online tutorials and printable training guides and job aids.
4. Make sure your browser settings are configured properly for PeopleSoft. If you are using Internet Explorer 7, there are special security settings that must be configured. Also, all browsers must be configured to enable pop-ups. Please visit the tutorial on Configuring Your Web Browser Settings

For PeopleSoft Student:
Effective Oct. 12, 2010, a PeopleSoft Student System Support Centre in the Office of the University Registrar has been established to provide a single point of contact for all staff and faculty who use the student system for any issues they encounter with the admission, financial aid, reports or technical components of Release 1. Issues should be reported to the Support Centre by completing the online Webform which can be found at the bottom of the Office of the University Registrar (OUR) homepage, http://www.queensu.ca/registrar or by phone at extension 79574.
Phone hours are 8:30am-12:00 noon and 1:00-4:30pm.
