QUBS Director traveling in Australia supported by the J. Allen Keast Field Biology International Exchange Fund.
In January and February 2014, QUBS Director Steve Lougheed is traveling in Australia to various locales, field stations and the Australian Herpetological Society annual meeting in Canberra. The hope is that he will bring back some innovative ideas for programming, teaching and research at QUBS, but perhaps too develop some new research collaborations with Australian scientists. He has visited the Northern Territory around Darwin (including Litchfield and Kakadu National Parks), northern Queensland (around Port Douglas and Daintree National Park - including a trip to the Great Barrier Reef), and the south coast (south of Canberra).
