All levels of sketchers and painters welcome. Your choice of media; no oils please. Outdoors in good weather or at the clubhouse.  No instruction, but we will share what we know and enjoy.

Book Discussion

4th Mondays

Beginning September 22nd

Books for the year are chosen by consensus.  Each month a book is reviewed and discussed.  Members review fiction, biography or autobiography and other books of interest.  Discussion is preceded by a poem.

Latin dances, waltzes & quickstep.  Technique is emphasized in order to achieve a cardiovascular and core strengthening work out.  Beginners, please contact the coordinator.

French Conversation


11:30 –1:00

Beginning September 22nd

Bring a "Bag Lunch";  engage in general conversation over lunch.   A warm welcome is extended to all.

Investing & Financial Issues

Beginning September 24th

Financial issues, in general will be discussed, followed by the basics of investing.  Learn how to be a better communicator with your investment professional.  This group is for those who have no investment experience.  Location:  Upstairs.

A virtual (no money) investment group.  The group will evolve from an educational model to one of group discussion and information sharing.  Investing experience is a prerequisite.

Play Reading & Discussion

Focuses on plays performed locally at the Domino Theatre, Queen’s or other venues.

This group is for writers and aspiring writers.  Participants read excerpts from their memoirs, poetry, passages of literary non-fiction, fiction and fragments of mysteries.

Theme Luncheon

Participants prepare a dish from recipes selected by the organizers of the Theme event of the month.

Groups that Do Not Meet

Book Exchange

(Reading Only)

No meetings

First books available mid to late October

Members collectively buy newly published books, (current year) which are passed from one member to another every four weeks. Members keep their final book.  There are 10 members in each group and the groups are organized geographically.  Sign up at the Summerhill reception or by September 11 th .
