Multi-Term Courses
Courses that continue through the Fall - Winter, formerly referred to as "full year courses" are called Multi-Term Courses in SOLUS. These courses are identified with an "A" and "B" in the course codes - "A" indicating the first term of a multi-term course, offered in the Fall term, and "B" indicating the second term of a multi-term course, offered in the Winter term.
- You MUST register in the "B" course if you register in the "A" course (Note: the system will do this for you).
- You MUST register in the same lecture and lab/tutorial section in the Fall and Winter terms. See example below.

- JAPN 100A-002 lecture
- JAPN 100A-004 tutorial
- Winter Term
- JAPN 100B-002 lecture
- JAPN 100B-004 tutorial
- Fall Term
- You CANNOT register in a time conflict.
- After the last date to drop a fall term course, if you wish to drop the winter term B course, you must contact your faculty office to process the drop.
