Dates and Deadlines

  • August 7                      Civic Holiday.  University closed. Classes will not be held
  • August 8                      Graduate Students: Final Payment Plan (PPL) withdrawal for the 2017/2018 academic year
  • August 10                    Admission, renewable and upper year awards posted to your SOLUS Student Account
  • August 15                    Last Day to request an Alternative Payment Program (APA)
  • August 18                    Last day to submit your photo for your Photo ID Student Card
  • August 22                    Open Enrollment Begins in SOLUS Student Centre
  • September 1              Fall Term Tuition and Student Assistance Levy (SAL) Due. How to pay
  • September 1              Fall 2017 Term Begins
  • September 11           Fall 2017 Classes Begin (except Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law)
  • September 20           Last day to enroll in the Fall/Winter 2017/2018 Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PPL)
  • September 22           Last date to drop a Fall term course for full refund
  • September 30           Fall tuition, Student Assistance Levy, Student Activity Fees, Fall residence fees, and UHIP (if applicable) are due. How to pay


OSAP / other provincial / territorial government assistance funding!

We encourage you to apply for government student assistance in July to ensure that your first entitlement of funds is available when you start your studies in September. 

Check your status on the OSAP web site to ensure you have submitted all required documents.  The Student Awards website contains helpful OSAP information, including dates, deadlines and advice.  Learn More

Queen’s General Bursary

The Queen's General Bursary is a non-repayable grant available to students in all years of study who have a demonstrated financial need.  The application will be available early September on your SOLUS Student Centre. Learn More


Do you need Queen’s Verification of Enrolment?

The Online Verification of Enrolment is a snapshot of your current or past registration status at Queen's, and is available for the upcoming Fall Winter 2017-2018 academic year. Learn more


Can’t pay your tuition by September 1st?

If you can’t pay, but have a proven source of funding, you can request an Alternative Payment Arrangement (APA).  Learn More


Tuition Fees for Graduate Students

If not on the payment plan, Fall term tuition is due September 30, 2017 and Winter term January 10, 2018. Learn More
