Fall / Winter Tuition and Fees -             Undergraduate Studies

    Domestic  International

    This information is applicable to Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents / Landed Immigrants, Residents, Native Persons, and Exempt International Students.

    International students will be automatically enroled in the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) for each term of their enrolment at Queen's University.

  • Audit Fees
     

    T he audit fee is set at fifty (50) percent of the Unit Fee, plus $20.00 (Student Assistance Levy )  

     

    Please note that Audit Fees are non-refundable after the full refund date

  • Additional Fees
  • Registration in each of MUSC 124/224/324/424 incurs an additional fee of $1,500 per course.
  • Registration in each of MUSC 004/005 incurs an additional fee of $450 per course.
  • Registration in each of MUSC 120/121/220/221/320/321/420/421 are charged a supplemental applied lesson fee of $450 for one-hour private instrumental and voice lessons.
  • Registration in each of PACT 338 and PACT 438 (PHE: Outdoor Education) incurs an additional fee of $400 per course.
  • Registration in a supplemental examination incurs a fee of $250 per exam. (See Faculty Calendar for details.)
  • Registration in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science Extended program J section incurs a fee of $448.00 per course
  • Registration in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science J section rewrites (Spring Term 2011) incurs a fee of $466.00 per rewrite.
  • Students in Supervised Pastoral Education are required to pay an additional $150 CAPPE affiliation fee for each unit taken.
  • Balance of accounts are due on or before September 30th.
  • Service charge applied to outstanding accounts effective September 30th. See service charge information here.
  • Last date for a full refund is Sep 23rd, 2011 for FW and F term courses and Jan 20th, 2012 for W term courses.

  • Students taking courses offered in another Faculty / School

    The fee unit will be determined by the Faculty through which the student is registered and completing a degree program. Students should be prepared to pay a fee that may be higher than the accredited academic unit.

  • Policy on Overdue Accounts
     

    Senate policy stipulates any student with an overdue account with the University will not be permitted to register until the outstanding amount is settled in full.

     

    The policy will not be waived for tuition or residence debts. (A student with a debt cannot obtain an official transcript, nor receive a diploma)

  • Changes in Fee Assessment
     

    While we make every effort to avoid errors in fee assessment, should an error occur it will be corrected and we will make every effort to attempt to notify affected students.

     

    However, lack of notification does not exempt a student from paying the appropriate fee.
