Dear student -
If you plan on graduating this spring and you have not submitted an application to graduate, you must do so right away.
When to apply:
Applications must be made via the SOLUS Student Centre before April 30th for Spring 2013 Convocation.
Web browser compatibility:
The current version of SOLUS only supports certain web browsers. For example, it does not support Google Chrome.
If you have already applied to graduate using Google Chrome, the application may or may not have been saved correctly.
If your application is missing in the ‘Maintain Convocation Details’ screen, please re-apply with another web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.
Maintaining your Convocation details:
Once you have registered your application, you will need to visit the ‘Maintain Convocation Details’ section of SOLUS in order to confirm your arrangements, as well as order guest tickets for your ceremony.
Navigate to SOLUS >> My Academics >> Maintain Convocation Details.
Once you submit your application, your status in ‘Maintain Convocation Details’will read as ‘Applied’. Before your final approval, your status may change to "In Review" - this means that your Faculty / School is reviewing your academic records to see if you have met the prerequisites of your degree.
This is a normal process, and at various times, a majority of applicants may fall within this category.
If, after you’ve reapplied and checked ‘Maintain Convocation Details’, you are still having problems, please contact the Graduation Staff immediately at email@example.com and they will be happy to help.
If you are not planning on graduating this Spring, please disregard this e-mail.
