IF you plan on graduating in Spring 2013 and have already applied to graduate, it is very important that you view ‘Maintain Convocation Details’ in SOLUS if you have not already done so.

                             Navigate to SOLUS >> My Academics >> Maintain Convocation Details. 

 An issue has been identified that may have affected the saving of your application in SOLUS.    The current version of SOLUS only supports certain web browsers.  For example, it does not support Google Chrome.  Therefore, if you have applied to graduate using Google Chrome, the application may or may not have been saved correctly. 

 Once you have verified that your application has been saved, please continue to check ‘Maintain Convocation Details’ for:

• Application status update – your status will be changed from applied to (hopefully) approved once you have successfully completed your degree requirements (May 2013 is when most status’ will be updated).
• Learn your ceremony date and time.
• View (and possibly change) your ceremony attendance information.
• If attending, order tickets for your guests.

 If you have applied and your application is not in SOLUS, please try again using a supported web browser.  For a list of supported web browsers, please visit our website at: http://www.queensu.ca/registrar/OURInfoCentre.html.  If, after you’ve reapplied and checked ‘Maintain Convocation Details’,  you are still having problems, please contact the Graduation Staff immediately at graduand@queensu.ca and they will be happy to help.
