Queen's UniversityReinstall SDW / BI Query

If you get a new computer or need to re-build your current computer, you will need to re-install BI Query and the SDW from IDA.
Important: IDA allows only 1 download per userid, so if you are re-installing the SDW, then you will have to contact Libby White 36741 to re-set IDA for you.
- From IDA, Install Packages; click on the Student Data Warehouse icon.
- You will be required to provide your NetID and password. This is likely your email userid and password; it is NOT your SDW userid/password. Contact ITS Support to verify your netid account information.
- You will also need to copy any queries/reports which you may have written from your old pc (or from your backup system) to your new pc.
These files will be in your c:\datawhse\student\user\ folder. You will see 3 sub-folders called \queries, \reports and \prompts - you may have other sub-folders as well. The key here is to copy everything that is in the c:\datawhse\student\user\ folder from the old pc (or backup system) to your new pc into the new c:\datawhse\student\user\ folder so that BI Query will find your queries.
