Dates and Deadlines

  • May 11                 Summer term:  May-June and May-July classes begin
  • May 12                 Student grades will appear on official transcripts for Medicine, Education and Graduate Studies
  • May 15                 Last day to add May-June and May-July courses.
  • May 15                 Last day to drop May-June course without financial penalty.
  • May 20                 Last date to drop Winter Term and multi-term classes without academic penalty
  • May 22                 Last day to drop May-July course without financial penalty.
  • May 22                 Student grades will appear on official transcripts for undergrad and distance students except for Medicine and Education
  • May 31                 Summer General Bursary application deadline
  • May 31                 Graduate Students: Last day to self-enroll in the payment plan

The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) is here to provide service to you and have adjusted our services to online delivery in an effort to help reduce the global spread of the COVID-19 virus. Inquiries can be directed as follows:

If you wish to submit a request to have a form completed (i.e. CPP) or request a letter (i.e. degree certificate) please visit for easy and complete instructions on how to submit the Document Request Form. 

We remain committed to providing service to you and will respond to your request as soon as possible.


Your Winter 2020 classes and grades:

The deadline for dropping Winter term and multi-term courses without academic penalty has been extended to May 20th.

We would encourage you to view your final grades before deciding to drop a class.  Normally, you would view your grades using the drop-down menu in SOLUS.  However, once final grades are entered, and prior to May 22, you may view your grades by following these instructions: 


If you are accessing OSAP - or the equivalent in another Canadian province or territory, or US Student Loans

Please consider the government regulations before you decide to drop a course(s). Information is available on the Student Awards website.


Did you apply to graduate in Spring 2020?  Don’t forget to check the status of your application!

Check your SOLUS account to determine whether your application to graduate has been approved. Click here, and review Step 4.

Students will graduate and degrees will be conferred.  Watch for further updates from the Principal available on the web site at

The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) – Student Awards is here to provide service to you.  The Student Awards Office administers a comprehensive range of financial aid programs.  Information from Government Student Assistance to Queen's scholarships, bursaries, and work programs can be found on the Student Awards webpage here.
