Named General Bursaries

If you are selected to receive a General Bursary the name of your bursary may be amended to a named general bursary.

  • Only the name of your award will change; the value of your General Bursary assistance will not change depending on the name of the award

Eligible students will also be considered for named general bursaries open to students in any faculty or school.

The following awards have been made available thanks to the generosity of Queen's donors.

School of Industrial Relations Bursary

Established in October 2002 from donations and awarded on the basis of financial need to students in the School of Industrial Relations.

MIR Class of 1985 Bursary

Established in October 2020 by members of the Master of Industrial Relations Class of 1985. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students enrolled in the Master of Industrial Relations degree program at Queen's University.
