Fee Refunds

 

Students can request refunds for unapplied credits in their SOLUS accounts. Refund requests can take up to 3 weeks to process.  No exceptions will be made to this practice. All refunds (including Awards, Bursaries) will be directly deposited into your personal bank account held at a Canadian financial institution using EFT.

 

IMPORTANT: Students within the School of English, and Faculty of Education students taking AQ courses, should request refunds directly from the School of English and the Faculty of Education respectively. Students of Queen's Smith School of Business, with the exception of Commerce, PhD and MSc students, should contact the Queen’s Smith School of Business directly for a refund.

Enter your banking information on SOLUS!

If you wish to have a refund, you must enter your banking information on SOLUS. Refunds are issued via EFT deposit using the banking information that has been entered by the student on SOLUS.  Ensure this information is up-to-date.  Only personal bank accounts held at a Canadian financial institution can be entered / accepted. Note, Queen’s will NEVER withdraw funds from your bank account except for students who have enrolled in the Payment Plan for Grad students.

When can I request a refund?

January Do not submit a refund request form.
In preparation of the “auto refund” period in February, no refund requests are processed except in extenuating circumstances.
February Refunds are processed automatically. There is no need to request a refund.
However, if you have a credit and you do NOT want it refunded, please contact refunds@queensu.ca
