| Research Focus | I am interested in developing a new understanding of the relationship between human sexuality and nature mysticism. I suggest that the writings of certain nature mystics call attention to a radical mode of erotic subjectivity that contests the logocentric ideology common to contemporary Western discourse. My research is focused in the field of critical psychology, particularly the "transformational" school of psychoanalytic theory, as represented by the work of Jacques Lacan and Jeffrey J Kripal. |
