RELS-236 Religion and Sex

Fall Term 2015 (3 units)


All students meet with instructor from 8:30-10:30. From 10:30-11:30 half of the students remain in the class and the other half go to a tutorial. This alternates every week. Tutorial 002 will meet in MAC Corry E230 and tutorial 003 will meet in MAC Corry E202 one week (weeks 1,3,5,7,9,11) and the following week tutorial 004 will meet in MAC Corry E230 and tutorial 005 will meet in MAC Corry E202 (weeks 2,4,6,8,10,12)
Prerequisites There are no prerequisites for this course. First-year students wishing to take this course must contact the department to be registered.
Exclusions None
Calendar Description Views of and attitudes toward sexuality in selected world religions; the place of sexuality in religious traditions; relationship between sex and the sacred; specific topics such as marriage, gay and lesbian issues, contraception will be chosen.
