We have a very generous financial assistance program. We can assist you in meeting the costs of studying Theology at the School of Religion.
Financial assistance is available to students in theology after they have reached the limits of their own resources. All agencies providing aid, including the School of Religion, will require that other sources of income have been accessed, and expect an honest disclosure of personal financial information. In view of this, it is a good idea to prepare in advance a financial statement and a realistic budget.
Bursary applications are considered twice per year:
Please print, complete and submit the bursary application (link to PDF below) to the Bursary Committee by the appropriate deadline. Questions about the application may be directed to Cheryl O'Shea, Admissions/Student Services Coordinator, 613-533-2109.

Students in the 24-month MDiv/BTh program will receive $10,000 in bursary assistance over the course of their program. This bursary is automatic upon admission and students do not need to apply for it. Students are eligible to apply for further bursary assistance, which will be assessed based on financial need.
Students in other Theology degree programs, studying full-time (the equivalent of 16.00 units per term), can expect to receive bursary assistance of $6,000 or more during their program of study upon application and demonstrated need.
