The University reserves the right to make changes in the scale of fees if, in its opinion, circumstances so require.
Tuition fees are reviewed each year and are dependent on government funding and regulations.
Fees for the 2012-13 year are listed on the Registrar's Office website. Theology fees are listed under 2012-2013 Undergraduate Domestic Tuition Fee Schedule, second page.
Students in the 24-month M.Div. or B.Th. pay a program fee, with a set amount paid each term. See the schedule noted above for the term amount.
Students in all other programs (M.T.S., part-time or 3-year M.Div. or B.Th., or special) pay a "per unit" fee. See the schedule noted above for the per unit amount. To calculate fees, multiply total course units by the appropriate per unit fee.
Auditing fees are half of the tuition amount after calculation.
All students pay the Student Assistance Levy (SAL). Amounts are also listed on the Domestic Tuition Fee Schedule.
Fall and Winter tuition fees are due September 1; Winter term only tuition fees are due January 1; Summer term tuition fees are due May 1. The balance of fees (student activity fees, residence, etc.) for fall and winter terms are due September 30. Such fees for Winter term only and Summer term are due at the time of registration. For amounts, please see the Registrar's Office website at http://www.queensu.ca/registrar/currentstudents/fees.html. Payment details are published on the Registrar's Office website.
Students are given access to SOLUS, an on-line information system, and are expected to access this system to determine account balances.
The Society of Graduate and Professional Students collects a variety of fees from full time students covering voluntary contributions of the student body, fees for such services as health insurance, bus transportation, Grad Club, and sport facilities, and other activities. Because students can opt out of some, the total amount of student fees is variable. Student activity fees are assessed in September, and the opt-out period is during the first two weeks of classes in September. Please see the Registrar's Office website for more information.
Complete information on tuition and student fees, minimum payment, modalities and times of payment, etc., is provided on the Registrar's Office website.
