The writing of a Research Essay is an opportunity in the final year of a M.Div. or M.T.S. degree program. It allows the student to do extensive research on a topic within the biblical, historical, theological or practical area of study. Students must consult with their faculty advisor before making the decision to do a Research Essay.
A Research Essay has the weight of 2 term courses (8 credit hours). It is normally 45-55 pages, typed, double-spaced, and follows the Format Guidelines (link below).
