Registration

New Students

New students in degree programs will consult with a faculty adviser before selecting their courses.  You will be given your faculty adviser's name and contact information before your start date so you can set up this consultation.

Fall/Winter 2012-13

Registration Payment (tuition) due - September 1, 2012

Amount due depends on the number of courses you will take in the 2012-13 academic year.  See our fee page for more information.

Registering for Courses - New Students will register in their courses online using SOLUS starting on September 5.

Other Dates to Remember

September 5 to 21 - add/drop period. This is when you can make changes to your course registrations.

September 10 - Classes start

September 12 to 30 - opt-out period. This is the time to opt out of any optional student activity fees that you don't want to pay. For information on how to opt out please go to http://www.sgps.ca/info/fees.html


Starting in other terms - contact Cheryl O'Shea to make arrangements to register.

Returning Students

Registration for courses is done online, using SOLUS, the Queen's University portal for students.

Fall/Winter 2012-13 - Schedule

June 15 - All outstanding debts to the University must be paid. You will not be able to register if you have debts owing.

July 9 - 24 - Course selection, via SOLUS

September 1 - Tuition (full amount) due.  Please see our fees page for more information and instruction. 

September 1 - Registration for 2012/13 should be complete.

August 27 - Student card validation begins for returning students. After you have completed your registration, get your Photo-Id student card validated for the 2012/13 year. Dates for validation are available on the Registrar's Office website.
