Diploma in Transformational Leadership
Keeping pace with rapid change is one of the greatest challenges facing church and congregation leaders today. Dealing with the demands and crises of today often leaves little time to prepare for the challenges of tomorrow.
The Diploma in Transformational Leadership will help you gain the knowledge and new skills you need to think, plan, and lead effectively in today's dynamic church environment.
What are the Diploma Requirements?
- The 5-day Core Residential Intensive Shaw Transformational Leadership program (TL100) offered annually in the springtime in Kingston, with a six-month structured follow-up and mutual support off-site to reinforce, integrate, and sustain positive change so you can actualise your personal and congregational leadership vision. The next date is April 26-30, 2010.
- Three Transformational Leadership courses (TL101, TL102, and TL103) each offered over two days as part of a six-day intensive held at the Providence Spirituality Centre in Kingston November 7-12, 2010.
- Completion of a 5000-word Leadership Integration paper (TL200).
Combined, these studies promise the participant practical and relevant content delivered by outstanding leaders and motivational speakers.
The Shaw Transformational Leadership program and the diploma courses can be completed in any order of preference. The Leadership Integration paper can only be done after the other program requirements are completed (TL100, TL101, TL102, and TL103). For those commencing the diploma program in 2010 must be completed within five years of registration.
Note: It is recommended that the core five-day course (TL 100) in the Shaw Transformational Leadership Program be taken prior to the other diploma courses, but it is not compulsory. Enrolment is limited and preference will be given to applicants who have completed the core course.

TL 101, TL 102, TL 103 as part of a six-day intensive residential offering (including meals and accommodations), November 7-12, 2010 - $1475
*This course may be taken individually during the week of November 7-12, 2010 as a two-day intensive for $500 including meals and accommodations.

Location
The Core Residential Intensive as well as the additional leadership courses are held at the Providence Spirituality Centre in Kingston, Ontario.
This retreat centre features large private guest rooms, modern meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor labyrinths, attractive landscaped grounds and spacious gardens. Meals and accommodations are included.
