Monday Morning Forum Oct 23 - Why should museums be supported?

The second of this year’s Monday Morning Forum talks, arranged by Dr. Agnes Herzberg, will be “Why should museums be supported?” presented by David Pantalony, Curator of Physical Sciences, Canada Science and Technology Museum, and Adjunct Professor, Department of History, University of Ottawa.

When?   Monday, October 23, 2017.  Gather at 8:15 a.m. for coffee and muffins, followed by the lecture at 9:00 a.m. and a discussion at 9:30 a.m.  These talks always produce lively discussion, so come prepared to participate! 
Where?  The University Club, 168 Stuart Street

Cost?  There is no charge for this event, although a free-will contribution to the cost of the refreshments is always welcome.

Parking?  Free for the event on any non-reserved Queen’s University surface parking space with the placement of a valid RAQ membership card on the car dashboard.  Please note, members who park in designated Pay & Display spaces (such as on Stuart Street) or in the Underground parking garage, must pay as indicated.  All parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis and a parking space is not guaranteed.
