RAQ United Way Tour
RAQ members and friends are invited to join others and me in a “Seeing is Believing Tour” on Wednesday October 12, 2016 as part of RAQ’s events and tours program. The “Seeing is Believing” bus tour provides us, and others in our community, with an opportunity to see first-hand where our donations go as we visit local agencies and programs, and meet the front line workers and recipients of services.
In this 75th anniversary year, United Way would like to introduce us to the people who work every day to make a difference in our community; to hear the stories of those whose lives have been changed; and to see the impact of our gift to United Way.
The tour starts at Memorial Centre Parking Lot. The bus leaves at 10:00am. The tour concludes with lunch at one of the agencies and the bus returns to the Memorial Centre by 2pm.
There is no charge for this unique experience. The tour is sponsored by Kingston Transit and CIBC Wood Gundy.
