SME Repatriate Over 100 Foreigners, (Angola Press Agency, 2007-01-01):-Some 180 citizens of various nationalities were repatriated in 2006, by the Angolan Foreigners and Migration Services (SME), in eastern province of Moxico, over border violation and illegal stay in the country. According to a note from SME provincial department, 126 out of above number are from DR Congo, 41 from Zambia, 8 Mali, Senegal, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Guinea Conakry and Sudan one each. The source added that administratively 162 were expelled and 18 judicially, through borders check points of Luau, Jimbi (in Alto-Zambeze locality) and Mussuma Mitete (in Bundas). In the same period the Migration service also followed-up a voluntary and organised returning of 3,192 Angolans from neighbouring Zambia.
