The city of Tshwane says it is in the process of screening immigrants that were moved to the Pretoria CBD two weeks. The immigrants were moved from Atteridgeville, west of the city - following a number of alleged xenophobia attacks that left two foreign nationals dead. The immigrants are indefinitely staying in a vacant building in the Pretoria CBD. The City of Tshwane says it is currently screening them - in an attempt to determine the legal from the illegal. Spokesperson Absolom Ditshoke says once all of this is done, then those that are legal will be reintegrated into Atteridgeville - while the illegal ones will either be deported or be moved to Lindela.
