At its May 28, 2013 meeting Senate approved the following motion:
That Senate establish the Senate Governance and Nominating Committee effective September 1, 2013 and that the Senate Operations Review Committee and the Senate Nominating Committee be dissolved effective August 31, 2013.
To present to the Senate, annually and as need arises, nominations for membership of the standing committees of the Senate and other committees with which the Senate is associated, and to carry forward to Senate nominations for University Dispute Resolution Advisors, the Chair of the University Student Appeal Board received from the Secretary of the Senate, and the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Harassment/Discrimination Complaint Board received from the Principal.
To present to the Senate nominations for membership of special committees of the Senate, when so requested by the Chair of the Senate.
