Online Studies

You can participate in the studies below from any computer equipped with internet access at any time of your choosing (no appointment or sign-up needed). Unless otherwise stated, studies should be completed alone in a quiet space without interruptions and distractions.

TEAL Study      Participate Now!

Participant criteria:

  • Currently experiencing persistent genital arousal symptoms
  • Age 18 or older
  • Access to a computer

We are recruiting women who currently experience persistent genital arousal disorder (PGAD) for a free 8-session group online educational program.

Participation involves:

1. Attending a free 8-session online education program for PGAD offered by a registered pelvic floor physiotherapist.

2. Topics will include pelvic floor anatomy and muscle relaxation strategies, mindfulness-based stress reduction, impact of symptoms on psychological wellbeing and relationships.

3. Completion of questionnaires (about genital discomfort, mood, sexual functioning, and general health) before, immediately following, and 6-months following the online program.

Our next group is scheduled for Mondays, 12-2PM EST starting tentatively on January 15th, 2018.
