Grad Students Take Part in Homecoming

For the first time the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) has taken part in Homecoming. On October 4th & 5th and again this weekend, the SGS had a booth in Grant Hall to showcase graduate research and how alumni can get involved in helping our graduate students, whether that be as a mentor or as a conduit to networking opportunities.

This may be the first small step in engaging with our alumni family, but it certainly won't be our last!  Thank you to all our students who have volunteered their time to help at this event and others during Homecoming.

Graduate Students  - Colby Pereira (Sociology), Yu Qi (Electrical & Computer Engineering), Elaine Choi (Neuroscience), Paolo Uy (Pathology & Molecular Medicine), Megan MacDonald (Political Studies), Raya Assan (Microbiology & Immunology), Laure Sabatier (Kinesiology & Health Studies).

The SGPS and QSAA also held a graduate event both weekends.  A chance for graduate students to meet both alumni and businesses from Kingston in a social meet & greet at the Grad Club.
