Heat 2 doesn't let us down
Today the SGS hosted the second heat of this year’s 3 Minute Thesis competition showcasing 10 graduate students and their research. Covering programs from Civil & Environmental Engineering, Geological Sciences & Engineering, Biology, Education, Microbiology & Immunology, Mechanical & Materials Engineering, Kinesiology & Health Studies and Rehabilitation Science, it was a great way to round off the heats.
The four students who will now go through to the final on Wednesday, April 9th are:
- Michelle van de Pouw Kraan – Geological Engineering
- Lorraine van Zon - Education
- Jasmin Ma – Kinesiology & Health Studies
- Sima Zakani – Mechanical & Materials Engineering.

The final will be held on Wednesday 9th April at 5pm in Kinesiology Building, Room 101
