Graduate Students "Create and Impact"

On Wednesday October 8^th in Grant Hall, the School of Graduate Studies held a reception to congratulate and thank new Queen's graduate students who had received a Tri-council award (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR) for the first time.   This year, 84 of our new students received a tri-council award and we are thrilled that they chose Queen's to start their graduate study. 

Principal Tom Williams and Associate Vice Principal & Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, Janice Deakin, gave remarks.  Supervisors, Graduate Coordinators and Assistants were in attendance as well. Congratulations to you all and also to all our students who have received a tri-council award at some stage during their stay at Queen's.
