China-Canada Scholars' Exchange Program Announced

Graduate students, faculty invited to apply

Queen's has received an invitation from the Chinese Embassy in Canada for applications in the China-Canada Scholars' Exchange Program (CCSEP) for the academic year 2010-11.

Under the auspices of the CCSEP, with the China Scholarship Council acting as the executive agency, and in partnership with Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT), a number of awards are offered to Canadian academics and students who wish to study and/or do research in subject areas related to China in a select list of Chinese institutions.

Queen's is publicizing this information to students and faculty who may be interested in applying. The following groups are eligible to apply: Faculty members, students enrolled in graduate programs and holders of Bachelor's degrees.

Complete program information, as well as the application form and list of Chinese institutions admitting international students under the CCSEP, may be found on the website of the Education Office of the Chinese Embassy in Canada.

Please note that the deadline for applications is February 28, 2010.
