On March 22, 2012, the Graduate Studies Executive Council (GSEC) approved a policy statement on the Accommodation of Graduate Students with Disabilities.  This followed from the work of a Task Force struck by the Vice-Provost and Dean of the School of Graduate Studies to examine issues of accommodation in graduate studies.

In the coming weeks the SGS will work with the Disability Services Officer in the Health Counselling and Disability Services to ensure processes for students seeking accommodation are clearly laid out. Information about roles and responsibilities of students, faculty and staff will be communicated.
