Thesis Persistence 101

Needing a boost to keep your thesis work on track throughout the rest of the summer? Sign up for Thesis Persistence 101.

Here’s how it works: each week from July 9 through August 22, you will come together with other participants for three hours of intensive thesis work. Prior to each session, you will identify your goals for that session and post them to a private online forum. These goals could be anything related to your thesis, whether it be literature review, analysing data, or writing. Our time at each session won’t be taken up with a lot of talking, although we will spend a bit of time refining the ways in which you use goals to stay motivated.

Sessions will run on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 – 4:00 and on Friday mornings from 9:00 – 12:00. You commit to attending on either Wednesdays, Fridays, or both.

Venue: Career Services workshop room 325a, Gordon Hall, level 3
