Upon completion of this degree, I hope to return to Canada to teach before eventually settling in Bermuda.

I will be staying at Queen's for my Masters of Science in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies. I will be working with Dr. Pat Costigan, one of the PHE profs and will be studying biomechanics. My plan is to become a Veterinarian. This September, I will be heading to Ireland where I will begin my first year of a four-year Veterinary Medicine degree program at University College Dublin. Upon graduating, I would like to travel for a few months and eventually practice veterinary medicine in Vancouver, B.C. where I grew up.
J.C.I.A. - BSC GEN BIOL, BPHE SPF

Since finishing my classes at Queen's, I have been hired as a Research Assistant to Dr. Susan Jack, a professor and researcher in the School of Nursing at McMaster University. We are currently conducting research on the Nurse Family Partnership pilot intervention.  I have no idea what comes after this, but eventually I hope to travel.
E.J.V.Z. - BSC GEN LISC, BPHE SPF

In September 2009, I will be starting a two-year Master of Science program in Occupational Therapy in the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University.  Upon graduating, I hope to travel and then settle back home in Toronto to pursue my career.
L.P.H. - BAH MAJ HLTH, BPHE SPF

In September I start a year-long teaching contract in South Korea during which time I am volunteering with several humanitarian and health-related organizations. Upon the completion of my contract, I will spend the following year volunteering in Southeast Asia and at a rural mobile health clinic in Madagascar. Finally, I will return to Canada in 2011 with the hopes of completing my Masters of Health Science (Community Health and Epidemiology) at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto.
A.L. - BA MIN HLTH, BPHE SPF

After finishing five years at Queen's, I still do not know 'what to do with my life'. I plan to 'live without firm plans' as I take cool opportunities as they come, actively engaging in the world around me.
L.J.G. - BSCH SSP ENSC LISC, BPHE SPF

This September 2009, I will begin an exciting journey that I have always dreamed of pursuing... I will be attending McMaster University's Michael DeGroot School of Medicine. Currently, I hope to become a Family Physician where I can work in a community that has a lack of access to healthcare (i.e. downtown, suburbs, homeless shelters, rural communities, reserves, overseas - the sky is the limit!). It's true what they say... dreams do come true and I'm excited to begin!
M.A. - BSC GEN LISC, BPHE SSP

In September, I will be attending the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in order to receive an Honours in Business Administration in 2011. After that I hope to pursue a career in marketing/consulting or start my own business.
T.C. - BSC GEN LISC, BPHE SPF

After 5 years at Queen's, I have finally decided upon a suitable career path. In September 2009, I will be attending Sheridan College for the Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences - Athletic Therapy program. I was fortunate enough to be granted "direct entry" into this program; in turn, I will have 3 more years of schooling before beginning my true career.
R.A.M - BA MIN HLTH, BPHE SPF

In September 2009, I will be starting a four-year medical degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Upon completion of the N.D. program, I will be a primary-care family physician.  Hopefully the next four years will be as enjoyable as the last four.
S.L.S. - BA MIN PSYC, BPHE SPF

Since finishing school, I have been working for a non-profit organization running science camps and classroom workshops in rural towns and Aboriginal communities across Canada. Come September...?
L.G.Z. - BSC GEN LISC, BPHE SPF

In September 2009, I will be starting a two-year Master of Arts in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa. I will be working with Dr. Audrey Giles, a former Queen's PHE graduate, and study health promotion in aboriginal populations. After my Masters, I hope to continue into a Ph.D. program, and eventually become a professor.
M.M.J. - BAH MAJ HLTH, BPHE SPF

After receiving a BPHE and a BA with a minor in Health Studies, I will be taking the year off. This summer I am working at Keating Tours as a Guide in Quebec City and later at Camp Trillium. I plan to spend my year off travelling, reflecting on my university education and planning for future education, perhaps a Nursing degree, or a Masters in Sport Psychology.
A.P. - BA MIN HLTH, BPHE SPF

Beginning in September, I will be spending a year working as an Exercise Specialist at Cardiac Wellness, a cardiac rehabilitation facility in Calgary.  I have decided to take a year off school to work and explore the available opportunities in graduate programs, while writing the numerous required admission tests. At the moment I plan to pursue a Master's degree in exercise physiology in the United States.  However, I also plan on applying to medical and business schools.  Needless to say, I plan on several more years of study before I settle down into a career.
J.S. - BSC GEN LISC, BPHE SPF

In late August 2009, I will be attending the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine.  At present I like the idea of either general surgery or family medicine, but I'm sure my plans will change in the future as I gain more experience in Medical School.  If those specialties don't work out, I might train in emergency/wilderness medicine and do consulting for Bear Grylls and the TV show Man vs Wild.
J.F.M. - BSC GEN LISC, BPHE SPF

In September 2009, I will be starting a two-year Master of Science program in Physiotherapy in the School of Rehabilitation Science through Queen's University. After completing the degree, I wish to travel before pursuing a new career in physiotherapy.
