Next year I look forward to studying at Queens University's Faculty of Education.
I will be entering the Intermediate/Senior Stream with Phys Ed and
History as my teachables. I look forward to potentially travelling
overseas to teach upon graduation from the B.Ed program.
C.M. - BPHEH SPF PHED
In September I am entering the Bachelor of Educationprogram
at the University of Ottawa for subjects in science and physical
education at the intermediate/senior level. My passion for teaching and
the outdoors has led me to Boundless Adventures, an outdoor education center where I will spend the summer working with high school students.
H.A. - BPHEH SPF PHED
In September I am returning to Queen's to earn my Bachelor of Education.
I am entering the Intermediate/Senior program, with the prospect of
teaching Phys. Ed. and Geography. After graduating, I am off to Europe
to teach internationally!
B.M. - BPHEH SPF PHED
In September 2011, I will be returning to Queen's University to study at the Faculty of Law.
Upon completion of my J.D., I hope to pursue a career in the area of
health and human rights law, and to be able to continue working with
youth and spending time outdoors.
K.S. - BAH MAJ DEVS, BPHE SPF
This fall I will be attending OISE at the University of Toronto for teacher's college with hopes of teaching high school Physical Education in the future. I am also completing my CSEP certification
for personal training this summer, as well as a coaching qualification
for cycling. I hope to be able to use the knowledge I gained during my
time at Queen's along with my passion for physical activity, health and
the outdoors to teach others and promote healthy, active lifestyles.
J.W. - BPHEH SPF PHED
This fall I will begin a two-year MSc degree at Dalhousie University studying Rehabilitation Research.
I will be focusing my studies on neurorehabilitation, working with
stroke patients to examine the effectiveness and practicality of a
modified therapy technique on improving upper limb function. I hope
this will help lead me on my quest to become a doctor specializing in
physical medicine and rehabilitation.
A.F. - BPHEH SPF PHED
After completing my B.P.H.E. I will be returning to Queen's this fall to study in the Faculty of Education - Primary/Junior stream.
I look forward to beginning my teaching career and using my experiences
in Physical Education to create opportunities for students to live
healthy lives both in and out of the classroom.
K.D. - BPHEH SPF PHED
In September I will begin studying at McMaster University in Hamilton. I am entering the Masters of Occupational Therapy
program. I look forward to a rewarding career in the diverse field of
Occupational Therapy, and hope that I will be able to use by educational
background to improve the quality of life for all of my future
clients.
A.M. - BPHEH SPF PHED
In the fall I will be attending Lakehead University for their Outdoor and Ecological Education Program.
After completing this degree I hope to teach Outdoor or Physical
Education at the high school level, perhaps somewhere in Northern
Canada.
H.B.- BPHEH SPF PHED
Upon completion of my degree in Physical Health and Education I have decided to return to Queens to further my education in the Masters of Physiotherapy program.
