My research involves an examination of new forms
of labour within post-Fordist capitalism. This has involved an ongoing
attempt to assess the nature of immaterial labour and the flexible,
precarious, and unwaged forms that it currently takes. In particular,
I am interested in the relationship between struggles by these workers
and broader radical movements creating social change. My theoretical
approach combines three traditions: the political economy of communication,
Italian and Anglophone autonomist theory, and poststructuralist
philosophy.
