Associate Professor

My general research is in the area of propaganda and political persuasion. My interest in the internet is as an additional site for states to engage in persuasion. Essentially, I wish to know how democratic governments use the internet as a vehicle of persuasion and what are the appropriate democratic boundaries. Moreover, I am interested in the way in which the internet changes the relationship between state and citizen.
