Yolande Chan
Professor & E. Marie Shantz Research Fellow in MIS
Queen's School of Business

Yolande Chan has studied surveillance, privacy and security issues, from a business perspective, since the late 1990s. She has co-authored a number of journal articles, book chapters and conference papers on information privacy and security, and on ethical considerations in the management of information technology. Yolande has supervised Master's students, Ph.D candidates, and postdoctoral fellows with related research interests. She is a senior member of journal editorial boards and conference planning committees. Yolande's focus is raising awareness within the business community of the importance of appropriate flows of customer and employee personal data.
