64.2 million adults go online in the U.S. every month (NUA Internet Surveys, Mediamark Research, 2003).

 

Estimated annual growth rate for Internet access devices: 28.2 percent, between 2001 and 2006 (NUA Internet Surveys).

 

Over half a billion people worldwide now have Internet access, according to new research from Nielsen-Netratings (NUA Internet Surveys, Nielsen NetRatings, 2003).

 

The number of women using the Internet worldwide passed 96 million, or 45 percent of the world's Internet users, in 2001 (Computer Economics).
