Nick Hardy is Assistant Professor of Social Theory at the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton). Before starting at UNB and while completing his PhD, Dr Hardy taught social theory at King's University College, Ontario. His research interests in sociological theory include: post-structuralism (esp. the work of Michel Foucault), post-Marxism and aleatory materialism (with a focus on Louis Althusser), and critical realism; Dr Hardy is also continuing research from his PhD investigating the impact of nuclear energy upon local and global environments and populations.
