Steps to Study Abroad

Argentina-store-fronts
  1. Get an idea of where you would like to study.

  2. Make an appointment with the Undergraduate Advisor in the Department of Spanish and Italian to discuss your studies abroad and possible transfer of credit toward your Queen’s degree.

  3. If at all possible, give the advisor a copy of the course(s) descriptions and where you would like to study.

  4. Make an appointment with the International Programs Office (for the International Letter of Permission) and the International Centre (for exchanges or third year abroad) to discuss your studies abroad and obtain the paperwork you will need before you leave.

  5. After you return to Queen’s, give the International Programs Office (for International Letter of Permission, exchanges or third year abroad) a copy of your official transcript from the institution for the course(s) you took. The IPO will contact the Undergraduate Advisor regarding the transfer of credit toward your degree.
